Swiching from SOHC to DOHC and tranny?? Any Mods I have to Make???

I Have a 1990 240sx and tranny just got messed up so i have to get another one. I wanted to get an SR But i dont have enough. So anyways...i was thinking on just getting a DOHC KA and tranny to replace the SOHC and tranny or course. My question is that are there modification to change from a SOHC or DOHC>???
and if so, what are they? I need my car up and running since i dont have another car to drive. Thanks alot!!!!

i'm not too sure.. they are prolly very simple minor adj. maybe get he DOHC ecu as well...reguardless i would try a search... (not trying to flame)

also will u sell my ur SOHC pistons?
