View Full Version : I just ordered my Injen Intake with CAI
Once I have it on, what should I expect?
My only other mods are denso plugs and magnecore wires.
Could I get 8hp out of the intake and CAI.
How much of a total hp increase do yout hink I'm getting with the wires, plugs and intake?

Without header and catback exhaust upgrades, you won't be getting 8hp from your CAI. The power increase might not even be noticable.

Krunko, sorry for lagging on the review I told you about the Injen intake w/CAE. You will be getting an average of 4.5 HPs with the intake. Plugs and wires don't give you HPs, but only betters your throttle. It seems like it gives you HPs, but it doesn't. As soon as you put that thing in your car, it will put a smile in your face when you start driving it. It put one on mine <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. I've seen dyno results where it increased the HP by 10 between 4K and 5K rpms. Your next upgrade should be exhaust.
I had the Apex-i N1 on mine and remember the low end torque loss I was whining about? Well, that's non-existent now! The car right now sounds DEEP. Deeper than any import I hear out there. When you get it, e-mail me and I'll give you a site where it tells you how to install it. The one Injen provides sucks.
Are you saying that you lost torque when you installed the N1, and regained it after installing the Injen intake?
Yeah I'm probably going to buy the Apex-i N1 Dual at the end of the year or beginning of next year. From what I hear its good exhuast, right? What kind of HP increase would I get from it after having intake?

CP, I did lose a little torque starting up when I just had the N1, but then at the higher RPMs, I got it back. When I put the INJEN w/CAE in, I got the torque back and more.
Kronko, the Dual N1s are cool. They'll be more streeteable than the single N1 like I have. If you're going turbo though, the single N1 will be better. I wish I had the duals, but I got a great deal on the single. As far as HPs, with the Injen and the N1, you'll gain a solid 15 HPs. At what RPM, I'm not really sure to tell you the truth, but I reckon it will be between 4700 and 5700.
