has anyone ever shipped seats? what is easiest way to ship and package them? i really dont have any boxs that big....any ideas?

I haven't shipped seats, but I have *bought* a few on occasion.
Easiest way is to find a box big enough. Looks like people would send it in a refrigerator or washer/dryer size box. Look at bike shops, they throw out big boxes all the time. You'll have to cut it up and rebuild a box, but the cardboard is there for the taking.
The Recaros I got were very light so they were just filled with foam peanuts in the box. I got a tranny in a big box once and it was just packed loose. I would guess the stock seats are somewhere in between, but I would still suggest lots of packing peanuts.

p.s. I'm still thinking about those seatbelts, just need a bit more money!

that or you could wrap them to a crate and have it shipped frieght, which it most likely will anyways since its oversized, if your set on putting them in a box...take the backs off the bottom....know what i mean, unbolt the seat back, i dont think you would need as big a box....
