anybody here thinking of getting one or already have one? how is it? Was the extra 50 dollars worth for the bigger screens, extra camera, deletion of the bigger gameboy advance slot, and an addition of a micro sd slot worth it?

I am wondering if its worth it or should i just get the regular DS..

i had a black ds lite with a r4 and a supercard... was awesome.. than i sold it when i got my zune cuz i thought the zune would take up most of my time.. i shouldnt have sold it.. =(

DS is easy to mod since it has no protection really. you can rock homebrew apps etc.
Thats what makes DS worth buying imo.

I never has a PSP but i wanna give one of those a try sometime... some of the games look cool.

the DSi isn't out yet i believe? Maybe I'm mistaken but I thin it's supposed to be released in April (third or fifth). Annnyways, Yeah I'm probably going to pick it up. Nintendo is notorious for getting games that REALLY utilize their hardward So with the little cameras (one the outside and one on the inside) i could only Imagine. I think it's going to be a bad idea though.... little kids/teenagers.... cameras.... wifi chat. Let's think about this. haha.

i don't think the DSi would be worth it personally. I mean how many games could they create that utilizes the camera, despite the upgraded hardware. It would be advantageous for me if the market for the ds lite goes down in retail because I need another one. My white one broke at the hinges where the screen folds over. =(. I just need an updated flash cart and a bigger micro sd.

gamestop will take it and give you credit towards a new one.. thats what i did when i had a white one and the power switch broke, i took it to gamestop and traded it, they gave me like $80 credit at the time cuz they had a special and i bought a black one..

Girlfriend surprised me with a DSi last week and now the Acekard 2i is taking so long to get here... damn Deal Extreme.
