My sr will not start unless it's been sitting for a whole day. I've had this new setup for about a year now, and it started acting up when I would drive on the freeway for extended periods of time. Like after an hour it would start jerking and if I let off the throttle it would back fire quite a bit. So the problem just kept getting worse and worse, and now it won't start after it's been started, but once it's on it runs fine around town besides the back firing problem. I checked the compression, spark, and fuel, everything is good, so what can the problem be? I changed the coolant temp sensor and tried unplugging it but the same thing happens.

I have a power fc that was last tuned about 6 months ago does anyone think that might be the problem? What about the wiring harness? Any info will be appreciated.

Does it just crank and not fire up?

Check all the sensor on the PFC and make sure all the votages are correct ans sensors are working correctly

Are you sure your new coolant temp sensor works?

It'll crank over for about 3 seconds and almost start, but after that it 'll just keep cranking.

Yes coolant temp sensor is good.

Is there something I can refference to when checking the voltage on the PFC?

Do you have the stock ECU? If so, put in on and see if it will throw a code.

It could be your Crank Angle sensor going out.

I do have a stock ecu but if I have a z32 maf sensor, bigger injectors ect, will it even start? I guess I'll just try it to see what happends. I will change the crank angle sensor this weekend, thanks bro.
