I've searched all the zilvia tech talk forum for this problem, but only got threads involving wiring/speed measurement/and installation stuff.
My turbo timer has worked for the past 2 years, no problems. Yesterday I installed the Profec B spec II and an AEM UEGO. For the moment, I have decided to not run the Profec B, but keep it installed. That being said, the power harness to the boost controller is not plugged in, and the boost solenoid not being used right now.
After the install I noticed something weird about my turbo timer. It would count up, CONSTANTLY. Even with the car not running in ACC mode, the timer would count up in both "H" and "L" mode. This puzzles me because I did not change anything with the turbo timer. I did however tap into the same ignition wire to power my Profec B Spec II and the UEGO.
I am going to look at my steering coloumn and gauge wiring later this week, but in the meantime any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
