All My valve stem seals are GONE!!??

Ok,
built head; 1mm larger valves,new guides, port/polish,Greddy springs HKS step 2 cams

Pulled my head apart because i was smoking a little bit after idling for a min.
All my Valve stem seals are missing on my exhaust side! :w00t: (or so i thought) upon further inspection I found them.. every single one was stuck to the spring retainers. DAMN It! how the hell did that happen? think they were all installed wrong? (the intake side was prefect)

Do you think the machine shop used a wrong seal? someone once told me a larger cam can cause contact, and other's say they could of melted and fell off..or the stems aren't installed all the way...

well, I'm going to remove my head anyways to get some more work done to it ( Mazworx CNC)
any comments or recommendations?

Did you install new seals? I bet who ever installed the valves ripped them out when installing the valves.

Edit; The seal or the seal and the seal retainer(assembly) are up on the stem? if the whole seal assembly is up on the end of the spring retainer I have to think they didn't install it properly and they walked up the valve stem while the engine ran.
