S13 Hicas: Brakes!

Can anyone here with an S13 with Hicas do me a huge favor and measure the size of your front rotor and brake pads? ... or if any of you already have the info, perhaps you could share with me.

I spoke with someone from projectsilvia today, who said that the S13 hicas brakes were the same as J-spec chuki and kouki RPS13 brakes... and wanted to confirm this. I'm looking to get new rotors and pads for my brakes, and will be needing this info! It would be a big relief to hear that I have easy access to pads and rotors in the future.

The pads are the same as 180SX and Silvia K's, rotors and calipers are not.

'89-'96 240SX non-ABS:
252x20mm rotor, CL22VB caliper with 112.8 x 44.8 x 10.0mm pads.

'89-'96 240SX with ABS (this includes the HICAS model)... also all '97-'98 240SX:
257x22mm rotor, CL25VA caliper with 125.6 x 45.3 x 11.0mm pads.

'91-'93 Silvia K's, '91-'98 180SX:
280x22mm rotor, CL25VB caliper with ??? pads.

The rotor is the same thickness but an inch larger is diameter... likewise the caliper is the same size, but spaced out an extra half inch.

Edit: you know, come to think of it the pads might not even be the same :( Too many vague web sites in Japanese...

Regardless, the rotor and caliper are definitely different parts... the pads might be also.

But there might be a US car that uses those parts.

Edit #2: The JDM A32 Cefiro uses that same caliper and pad, maybe the US A32 ('95+) Maxima has it too? That would also imply it has a similar rotor, but it'd be 5 lug...

Wow, thanks for doing all that leg work for me!! I was hoping someone would know this (pretty much) off the top of their head, but if you actually went out and did the research for this topic (and/or for yourself) then I appreciate it even more!! Thanks so much!

I think I'll go ahead and order myself a set of USDM S13 ABS/HICAS pads for my 180sx brakes, and see if they fit properly. When I eventually get around to it, I'll let you all know if/how they fit!
