I have been using RTV on mine only along the half moons. I have heard some not using any RTV at all.
I called the Fel Pro people and they said the RTV wouldn't hurt, but couldn't say if I'd be leak free without it.
How is this usually done?

Thanks, but that is not how the Fel Pro version works; the half moons are integral. Fel Pro's instructions also call for not using any chemical adhesive with Perma Dry gaskets; however, on quite a few applications people still use some RTV in the problem areas.
I have the FSM here.
Has anyone used the Fel Pro and skipped RTV without leaks?

On my E....I used RTV all over, on the DE.....didn't use a drop, never leaked.\
Stick with OEM stuff, failpro isn't trustworthy :/
