Read somewhere else that posted this(this may not be 100% exact but it may be close) that if you are signing shit like this on your card....and say someone actually steals your card and maxes it out, the company can hold you reliable instead of said person that stole it due to you not signing it correctly at all. I'll try to find the thread once I'm more on the sober side.

i always do the exact same thing. i always draw a dick. i've probably signed a dick for a couple hundred transactions at this point. and i've never had an issue.

i just draw a horizontal line. it ALWAYS takes it.
there was a girl at one store that said the same thing. "that doesnt match the signature on your card." i said, "so?" she gave me a strange look and just pressed whatever button she had to press. my most recent card, i didnt even bother to sign. my dad never signs his. i used to work at a gas station, i LOVED the ones that said "SEE ID" written on the back with a sharpie. :keke: some people would bitch if i didnt ask for their license. other people seemed annoyed if i did ask. like they forgot they wrote that there or something. :keke: shit is such a joke. and i say that, because nobody really checks. like Ta2Maki posted, i read that probably 3-4 years ago. and i realized that the guy was completely right.
