is there a way to fix a stuck blitz super sound blow off valve if i open it up, its stuck closed.

I guess it doesn't matter if it is closed or opened. Have you tried good ol' WD-40? I've had it save me $300 dollars from a VW stuck valve.

its stuck closed. If you read the post. the blow off makes no sound, any more. open it up as in take it apart and force the valve open ...dip shit

Have you tried WD-40? It will probably not move at first but once you get it to move, keep at it and it will eventually move freely.

Lets not start with the insults. His post was unnecessary but in his defense, your opening post was kinda confusing.

Some BOV's use rubber seals, but they leak as the rubber breaks down.

My SARD R2D2 uses metal/metal seals, and uses the mist of oil that's always blown through your charge piping to lubricate itself - and it gets stuck if you don't drive the car for a month or so.

If you're sure you've got the BOV installed properly and set to the loosest possible setting, and it still doesn't blow off (you hear compressor surge), you're going to have to take it apart, lube it up, and put it back together.

As stated, WD40 (or a better penetrating lubricant) is a great first step.

thanks..........been running this bov every day for 4 years..i think it was just oil build up so i took it apart and used a little bit of break clean, moves freely now. ill drive the car in the morning and see if it worked..peace
