I have had it. The for sale forum has turned into a lowballers free for all where lowballers come in and keep on lowballing intentionally.Especially after you have stated that you will not accept lowballs. This is just getting stupid and wrecking the forum. We need to have better moderation of the for sale section because apparently the current for sale moderator has fallen asleep at his post. It happens with certain things more than others but it all seems to be noobs doing it and I do not see any mods doing anything about it.

The issue isn't that people are lowballing, that is to be expected. The issue is that people are intentionally lowballing and posting bogus e-ghey prices with what seems like the specific intention of shitting on the thread. I have seen in other of my friends f/s threads where people are coming in in groups and intentionally attempting to bully the price down as well. I have persoanlly reported multiple posts in multiple threads which were started by multiple users with absolutely no action by any moderator. I find that to be unacceptable. I don't go reporting posts for no reason. While the f/s section moderator is doing an incredible job of moderating bumps and improper thread titles he seems to be ignoring the other moderation duties that fall into his scope of responsibility. This is only a major problem if it continues to be ignored. As of right now it is annoying, if it continues it will become angering. We don't want another big scene like with the whole rep drama again so why don't we just work on it a bit? It really is not that hard.

The "buy it now" price is the ebay version of an "asking price". So what if someone bought it for $10 less in an auction? I'm absolutely positive that if someone offered Dave $200 for the roller he would have accepted it. His asking price is less then the ebay asking price and his best offer price is lower then the e-bay price significantly. He is NOT asking for more then a new roller. The moderator of the for sale section has been in check, considering all the posts that they have to go through everyday.
As for the roller, Dave is selling it at a fair price. I've seen how ppl talk to him and lowball or ask about borrowing it. And that's why he is fed up with that. Just because we are in a recession doesn't mean it's time to lowball.

But point is, I don't think the moderators have any right on getting rid of low ballers, unless they get complaints from multiple sellers. The mods are doing a great job, but I do agree that the low balling has gotten rediculous. Just ignore them. That works for me :goyou:
