Carnival/Fair food? Show of hands?

Im heading over the the state fair after work today to get dinner, ive waited all year for this and have yet to try a fried twinkie. Prolly gunna go for some sort of sandwich for the main course with a big ass glass of lemonade and a side then dessert!

Anyone heard of this chocolate covered bacon thats the thing to try this year? Sounds kinda gross lol

My mom has a concession trailer and does funnel cakes, corn dogs, lemonade, and the deep fried twinkies. You would be amazed how much you can make in a day at a big festival or fair.

Basically they take a potato, strap it to a drill, then spin it through a blade. It makes the whole thing a long spiral of thinly sliced potatoey goodness. They drop the whole thing in the deep fryer until it gets nice and crispy, then salt it, cover it with cheese, bacon, jalepenos, whatever you want. It's sooooooooooo good.

Well I ate too much. Started out with fried dill pickle spears :yum: Then got a polish sausage with onions and peppers :yum: Jumbo cup of lemonade :yum: Then a funnel cake :yum: a 16oz bud light :yum: then a fried twinkie (dont think it was fried right, wasnt that great) fried oreo :yum: and holy fuck a fried peanut butter cup :yum::yum::yum: that thing was delicious! One more jumbo cup of lemonade then headed home. But now I just wanna :barf:

All in all not bad for a once a year deal! Cant wait for next year!
