I have a REAL not converted 1985 corolla gts coupe up for sale. the chassis has 17x,xxx miles on it, and I bought it at 160,000 even. I have owned the car since 02/06, I have been trying to keep it running since late 07 after the original motor blew it's head gasket. I really don't want to let it go, but the thing is...I can not afford to let the car get in my way of commuting and longer...also, the 10k+ miles i've had on the car since owning it in 06 tells you how often I've driven it...most of the miles were from pre 07...I've tried, I really have.
I believe the price is fair, I've spent more than 13,000$ on it in parts alone!!! all replacement gaskets or parts are 100% oem toyota (have receipts of EVERY SINGLE PART on the car that I've bought)

All you need to get it running is another 4age long block, everything else is practically new, so if you do the work yourself, you could have a nice running ae86 for less than 3000, with all the follow parts:

rebuilt block less than 1000 miles ago (by PASS RACING)
early 7 rib block
high comp rod, crank, and pistons (all arp rods, for crank and rods)
rebuilt head less than 2500 miles ago (from MAX_MISAWA)
