this was pulled out of my 97 240 as a running engine, i drove it between the lift posts and pulled it out.

200k miles, runs strong for the mileage. timing chain has been replaced twice, but rattles until warm. leaks some oil from the pan, crappy seal job after the last timing chain replacement. no other leaks to be seen. the alternator is gone, as are the spark plugs. everything pictured is included. if you don't see something just ask and i'll make sure it's there.

tranny shifts easy, i always kept it full of dino 75w90 and it always did it good. driveline will no be included in parts. shifter base and selector will be popped back on the tranny, it's just still hanging in the console. the clutch is fresh, would run in N/A form for a long time, but probably not if you boosted the KA.

i can arrange shipping through a local carrier i frequently use for around $200 depending on your location.

Are you willing to crack open the tranny? I need the bell housing.

compression was 150-140 across the board at full temp. i tested it a few months ago when i was considering boosting it.

i'm not going to seperate the engine/tranny or remove any parts for the time being. so no shipping quotes on seperate parts. but the whole thing ~400lbs is $300 to most of the US.

and for those wondering why i pulled the engine, i'm swapping in an LS1 into the chassis.

how about not thread crapping? If it doesn't sell for the price he mentioned, then he will get the point and lower his price.

engine is spoken for, the dude put some cash down and has until the end of the month to pay it up. if it drops out i'll bump it up.
