If APC or one of those Ricey companies made a

Angel Eye projector headlight for the 97-98 [ which i doubt they will ]

and sold em for $300.00 / set would you buy them?

since OEM headlights cost more than that.

what about S15 headlights? I've seen them go for 600.00+ on eBay

how about so APC S15 lights for 300.00??

im pretty sure if there was enought ppl here that wanted them we could get them made.

I remember a couple of Corolla buffs pushed for a Altezza tail for the 98-99 corolla and they got it.

I don't know. I think that a lot of 240sx people wouldn't really spend $300 on that, especially when BlaqSilvia (sorry if I butchered the SN) did his own. Also, a 2 year span is kind of a small market, especially when about 5,000 240sx's were built in those 2 years. The R&D wouldn't be justified if even 1/2 of the MCS14 owners bought them.

heh.... it might be more useful to get them to make copies of the 97 -98 headlights as they are, or maybe with "carbon fiber" backings, to help people do 97 - 98 conversions. Although... that would just make it that easier to stick an S14 front end onto a Tercel....

S15 headlights for $300....sure I would take them.

If I were going to buy the lights (OEM, etc...), APC would be a possibility. the only problems with aftermarket lights are fitment (which is something I would check first) and leakage (which I would just reseal the lights with silicone) :)

Did you guys know OBX is coming out with projectors for 95-96 S14's in about 2 months. They are supposed to be selling for about $275. I'm down for a pair....

Now if they just have the insight to make them glass, sales would be through the roof and stores would have empty shelves.

I think they would have to be glass...since most projectors have glass housing.

I wonder if these lights will be a start of something REALLY bad...

And most importantly BEAM PATTERN!

The aftermarket Honda projector lights suck balls in this respect. They're basically just cheap foglights. Dismal light output.

It doesn't take any engineering to design a taillight, but a headlight is a complicated matter that I wouldn't trust to APC/OBX/etc. unless they copied an existing part down to the last detail.

One of the things I like about VW... aftermarket VW headlights are made by Hella! Quality!

Make your own halo's for $50- hehe--I doubt APC will put anything out for our vehicles..

Just like Jeff said- not enough owners with s14's are out there- let along half way through production- 97 and 98's have different shaped headlights- oh well- my opinion tho! ;)

well seeing how 240s are becoming more and more popular and with all these honda cars riding around w/ S14 fronts and S15 fronts .. i can see how there would be a demand for them..

i mean not only ppl w/ the 97-98s would buy them..
