Got a tuned ecu for my 240 a couple months ago to replace the safc currently hooked up in the car.

I bought the car (sr20det) with the safc already installed - now I want to remove it.

Would it be safe to assume that all I have to do is re-connect all the wires to the main harness that were connected to the safc harness?

I just did this the other week. I believe there is 5 wires total. Maf input, Maf output, ground x 2, and power. All you have to do is cut off all the wires because they should be tapped into your existing harness. The maf wires will need to be re-soldered together. Make sure that there are no exposed wires after they are cut and use shrink wrap.
