I modified a Nissan Pulsar GTiR 4 TB intake Manifold to fit my S13 head today. Wasnt that bad. The Fuel rail that I am going to make is going to take a bit of extra fab work to clear the Throttle linkage. It is going to take a mild port match to work perfectly. I am swapping the plennum 180* to face the right way. They look sweet on there and should flow a hell of a lot of air.

The TB's are ~44mm each which comes to a total surface area of 60.8 cm^2. Which is the same surface area as a 88mm TB. (if my math is correct)

I will post some picts later this week.

Great! Let's see some pics and hear a few more details (cost, time, gains...)

that's really interesting. just 44 mm each? seems like a big waste of time to me...you could have just custom fit a Q45 TB on there and saved yourself a lot of headaches. i've read that the quad setup requires quite a bit of cut/reweld to make it fit. is this true? or was it easier than that? seems to me like cutting and welding on a Q TB would have been much simpler.

The gains are not just the 44mm each butterflies. It is also in the Plennum and runner design. VERY short and straight runners. Plennum has a very nice radius into each runner to help velocity. I will be flowtesting this head vs the stock intake with a stock tb and with no TB. I will post numbers when I can...

Throttle response is also improved as well as metering of the air is improved.

BTW I am a fabricator and it was not bad at all to modify.
