s14 clutch problem! need help!!!

wen i had first got my s14, the clutch was burnt out and jus messed up!!! and i had to keep adjusting the clutch because it grips all the way back so i had to adjust it back down over and over until i had enough money for a new clutch!! so now i have had my new ACT clutch and i had broke it in wid over 500 miles. now it keeps doin the same thing and i feal dat it doesnt grip anymore like the clutch is havn a hard time gripping!!! i had thought it was the clutch master cylinder so i had bought a new one but the tokico cmc didnt do squat!!! now i'm stumped!!!!need help thanks everybody!!!!

firts of all the clutch on s14 is not adjustable (hydrolic) the thing you did is adjust the cluth pedal to master cylinder now readjust the pedal until is about 1/4 inch of movement on the pedal.

I'd adjust my clutch than the engagement point would move up towards the very top of the pedal and not engage fully and caused it to slip.

you need to adjust your clutch with the correct amount of dead pedal.. or it will keep doing this..

well i did adujust it to the point where it wont move any more but it still feals like its not gripping like it should......like it dusnt take off as fast as it used to and its like i can feel dat its jus gona giv up at sum points

Did you clean the disk and the Pressure plate surfaces to take out the factory anti-rust treatment? They come with a substance to prevent rusting that is hard to seen/feel, if it is not cleaned it will slip as a wear out clutch. Don't ask how i know.....LoL. Had to take the tranny off again in less than 2 months.

You're supposed to do that every time you put a new clutch on iirc, at least I always have.

^its definitely a good idea; unless you don't mind doing things twice. I'd suspect the flywheel, if you're sure the install was done correctly, and the symptoms are the same.

I am having a really similar problem. My clutch is a fairly new probably has 3 months on my car i had to adjust the pedal alot more down. it grips fine daily driving but when i try to launch my car between shifting from 1st to 2nd it just slips. I useto chirp it. also doing like a burnout it wont burn out any more it'll just slip. I basicly i dont know what to do its a spec stage 2 with a f1 flywheel.

Wow I can't even understand what your saying. As for the problem you might need a new slave cylinder, did you check that?
