Rb25det swap, car starts then dies immediately.

Fuel lines are not reversed, does it with and without mafs plugged in, i have the o2 sensor plugged in too.

I feel pressure going to the fuel line and alot of pressure leaving the FPR as well <---- don't know if thats normal.

So what could be the possible culprits.

Vacuum leak. Timing wouldn't start at all, fuel wouldn't start at all, spark wouldn't either. Not really much else to look at.

First, thanks for your quick response, i know i can always count on you r240na!

it has no vacuum leaks.. I really just have a random ass pipe with a nipple going to the iacv, that goes form the TB to the mafs, nothing in between (temporarily)

Wiring couldnt cause this shit right? Unless it was some relay unswitching or something right?

I have a q45 TB, and the car does the same shit w/ and w/o it plugged in, and it does not respond to throttle anyways.

Should i tighten the Idle screw all the way down or something?

Wiring is doubtful, the ECU is seeing the start signal or it wouldn't start, it's got power and sensor inputs if it starts as well.

Is the IACV known to be good? What happens when you throttle it at startup? Is it better or the same?

Throttling at startup does nothing, it doesnt even respond, it just dies right away. I have no turbo manifold on the engine (i kno i know not good for the valves) could total lack of back pressure be cause?

How do you check if the FPR is bad? I dont know what the hell to look for lol.

Could the engine be flooding out? Would spark plug gap be likely?

what do you mean by no turbo manifold?

how would your turbo car run with no turbo manifold?

im just completing the swap.. im waitin gon a lovefab manifold. so no more ideas r240?

did you check to be sure the inj are stock ones? is the ecu the correct one for your engine? is it a 32, or 33, 33 s1? 33 2?

Its a 33, 2 (r33 series II)

not sure what the right ecu code should be.

if its not all the way put together, get it all put together and then try again. no point in having it run without it complete

Finish the damn swap first, how is your engine supposed to run if you have stuff missing from it?

if you have made sure base timing is correct.

then start with checking its firing in the correct order.

then if it is, check your AFM,
then if its not that.

Check your ECU

make sure you run s2 stuff, as its differnt to series 1.. coils, ecu etc.

your engine wont idle properly if you have no manifold... no back pressure and no turbos providing boost...
am I being too obvious?

im anxious to see what happens when you assemble it all...
