I have a very nice and clean 240Z.i've had this car for a few months and enjoyed it very much.i bought this car from a buddy of mine who was the third owner.I'm starting to realize that i can no longer afford to have a toy that just sits in the garage. So now i need to let this beutifull car go to someone who can take care of it.
The Good
The car is a blast to drive. It runs and handles very well.it has matching #'s drive train and is mostly original.compression on the engine are good. The clutch is good and the tranny shifts very well.brakes work good. Some after market stough was added.Such as Headers and exhaust,Tokico Illumina struts and springs, and electronic ignition.i had a 86 300zx alternator conversion done,it's a 70 amp alternator and works very well.i wanted to start fresh so i replaced the battery about two weeks ago. Also all the bushings were replaced from what i was told.So the suspension is pretty tight. The car has been recently repainted and looks pretty decent. The wheels are polished slotted mags with newer tires. The tires are Falken 205/60/R14's.They probably have about 5K on them.
The Bad
Although the car has been repainted it has it's flaws. There is a ding on the front passenger side fender. There's some surface rust in a few places but not bad.The battery tray had some surface rust but cleaned it up and sprayed some rust stop on it.I then sprayed it with some silver.Over all still a very solid car,no cancer holes. There are a few places that have a little bubbling.Theres a small spot on the cowel and up front by the raditor support area.also the front bumper has alot of pitting but is straight.the rear bumper has a little pitting but has a couple of dings. The bumpers will need reconditioning. All lights work except the brake light indicater on the gauge, and the map light. The amp gauge doesn't work and neither does the clock. Some of the hoses have been replaced up front. Some more could use replacing as i believe they are the original ones.
In close i believe this to be an original California car.The elderly lady who had it before ,owned it since 1980.She bought it with 30k on it.She only put 42k on it in over 20 years. It spent most of it's life in Pacific beach in San Diego. So i can see why the car has some surface rust. This is a very solid car over all.You won't need to put much money into it to get it cleaned up.E-mail me with any and all questions.I've been a long time Z lover and fan.If anything we can talk cars.$9,000 obo or possible trade for a newer 240sx and cash let me see what you got! Thanks

Bump for a great guy and an awesome seller! This car is awesome even with it's flaws, no a lot of s30 chassis out there that have less then 100k miles and in this kind of condition.
