good deal?

i know a guy who owns 2 240sx's one has a running ka24e with a 5spd but no paper work, one is a black SOHC model with a blown motor and an automatic tranny, but has paper work.


so he says for $1500 he will swap the motor and 5spd into the black one for me. should i go with this? ive driven the one with the running motor and it runs very well. but theres no paper work for it.. so we can swap the motor/tranny into the black one which does has paper work.

should i go with that?

he wants $500 for the black one, and $1000 for the motor/tranny and labor for swapping it over.

Gives us some more info. Condition of the frame, body, interior, mileage on the engine, etc.

well the black one seems in pretty decent condition, the quarter panel is dented otherwise the body is good, frame is undamaged it has a clean title. paint is good for a car that is over 10 years old. interior is decent all parts are intact, but the dash is cracked. the motor i believe has a little over 100k on it. i will probably take some pictures of the car and post them here ina few days.
