I have a 1993 S13 and Im fairly certain I need to replace the washer pump. Its been on my to do list since I bought the car and Ive finally decided to do it. The only problem is that I have zero experience doing anything on cars. I am determined to do this myself, but I need some help getting started. Do I need to jack up my car to fix this? Is there anything I should know before getting started?

Why are you fairly certain? Is this because you have already verified that there is nothing clogging the lines and nozzles? You have already checked that the fluid pump has power available to it when turned on?

Literally it's easier than changing a tire. Turn the wheel all the way so you can access the pump, remove the fender liner, unplug the pump and pull, it's press fit into the reservoir with a rubber grommet.

Yeah, I checked and the nozzles arent clogged but I am assuming that the pump is actually getting power. That said, if Im wrong about it being the pump Im only out $20 and some time.
