Here is the confirmed schedule of 2009 events by DriftMB at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

These are competition events but there is always about 3 to 4 hours worth of practice prior to the competition. Each event also includes fun runs after the competition until dark. Those not interested in competition will still get a ton of runs and learn a lot. The environment is very friendly and most all especially the event organizers are willing to give advice or possibly even ride along with you to help.

This venue is located at 4300 Highway 501, Myrtle Beach, SC. 29577
You can also check www.MyrtleBeachSpeedway.com (http://www.myrtlebeachspeedway.com/) Myrtle Beach Speedway - NASCAR Sanctioned .538 Mile Short Track for information and directions to the track. Or call and speak with Bill Hennecy at 843-236-0500.

Cost for each event is $75.00 per driver paid at the gate only. Spectator cost is $10.00, riders are an additional $5.00, and Children 12 and under are free. Cost has increased slightly from last year to cover administrative costs such as cones and to help increase the point series purse. Everyone must sign a waiver and adhere to track rules at all times.

A helmet is required for all drivers and riders. All cars are required to pass technical inspection. The drivers meeting is mandatory and anyone not in that meeting will not drive.

Good stuff. Need to hit a few of these this year. Everyone seems to hold out for the beach events over other ones.
