OK, the SR20DET FSM has a continuity test for the SR20DET transistor/igniter where you check for continuity for different pins on both ends and alternating polarities. You are supposed to get continuity for certain tests.

I did the test exactly as the manual says but I never got any continuity at all. So I'm thinking if I do not get continuity, the car should not run at all. The thing is the car does run although it has intermittent misfire when the engine is warm and at high boost.

Just need to know for those guys who've actually done the test if they were able to get continuity or not.

Thanks for reading and putting in your findings if you've done the test.

OK, I've searched and there is a couple of people who said they never got continuity doing the test but their ignitor works fine.

Anybody in here can either confirm the same thing or have been able to get continuity doing this test?

I did not get any continuity either, but my ignitor was fine. Thought it was the culprit, but it was just spark plug.

I got continuity when you test one side, but when you test one side with the other (testing and letters with the number fsm), no continuity.
