Price: $3,500 OBO OBO
Description:
This is a S14 KOUKI SR20DET Motor and Trans out of my S14. This is a complete plug and play package for an S14(harness, ecu, etc.) The motor itself has anywhere from 45-60k miles. I daily drove this for about 2 years in my S14. NEVER a single problem. Always maintained it religiously like I do with any of my cars. Transmission shifts smoothly I just recently(this summer) had the head out with hopes of doing a fully built head/standalone/2871r but just couldn't justify spending that much when 290whp was enough to keep me happy in the twistys. This setup is an easy 300whp. Reachs full boost(14psi) by 3,000 RPMS! The motor does runs on the rich side and could use a good tune.
One thing I wish I did was do a compression test, but I will do one for anyone interested. However, the piston walls were looked over and are in great shape. I wouldn't hesitate to say it has great compression.
While the head out was out; I decided to do the following for good measure:
port and polished head
(new)Valve stem seals
(new)OEM VCT intake cam solenoid
(new)Power enterprise headgasket
(new)ARP head studs
(new)Brand new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets
(new)Valve cover gasket
(new)Spark plug well gaskets
Act Street Clutch Kit
Nismo Flywheel. Clutch and flywheel still have a ton of life. Engages smooth and were recently installed less than 4k miles.
* Vibrant Exhaust Manifold, T28, Taka Stainless Steel lines/fittings.*
Price is $3,500 OBO OBO. That includes over $1,000 in brand new, already installed parts as well as the Vibrant exhaust manifold(rare discontinued), T28(which I purchased recently off a fresh clip) and the Taka Stainless steel lines/fitting. Those three items alone are about $1,000. Thats over $2,000 in parts and a Kouki S14 SR20DET.
