i understand that when it comes to sil-eighties, you can put any silvia front end on any other silvia with relative ease, and that s14a front end (my fav really) can be put on a 180sx/240sx hatch. does anyone have pictures of exactly how this looks? I had one somewhere but its lost. and what kind of prices are generally to be had for this "Strawberry face" front end?

thanks

I would personally like to have the '97-'98 on my '91 coupe. If anyone has pics, I'd REALLY like to see them. Thanks!

all i've seen w/ like more than one pic r the ones from this site. it has the 180 w/ a s13 n s15 front end, n the color that i'm gonna get my car painted next year, if i don't just go w/ all black.

god i love that color...what im really interested in though is the 96-98 silvia s14a face though (97-98 240sx in the USA). that s15 face is definately badass on a 180sx, but i just thing that s14a would go along more with the look that i would like to achieve

if I was going with a major conversion it would almost definately be a sil-80. I do like look of the s14 kouki tho.

I like the sil-80 the most. Does anyone know any place that sells these kits, I would really like to know how much they go for.

when people say sil-eighty it doesnt neccessary mean s13 front. it just means any silvia front. that akai180 off of the bomex sight, even after the s15 front, is still a "sil-eighty", because its a silvia front on a 180sx.

i cant find any info or pictures on the s14 K's front though that flatnose look is just beautiful

Hmm... 1200 for the front end conversion, seems reasonable to me.

Personally I think its alot sweeter than the S14a

I think it would be cool to have the s14 front end on the fastback body of the 240 sx. In many ways I like the S15 alot and also would think that the later s14 front would be cool with that "Shark eye" look. It is a tough thing to decide though so many cool looks for the 240 SX. comes down to money and personal taste to.

Can anyone else confirm this? I don't mean to doubt you mistert, but I really thought it referred to the s13 front on a 180sx. I know that's at least where it originated from.

"S13" is the chassis designation that's commonly used for the 89-91(?) generation of the Silvia. Sil-Eighties were commonly 180SX's with S13 Silvia front ends. Then people started getting creative and using different generations of the Silvia front ends on the 180SX's. Like this guy!

The photo was taken from the Slide Squad page, all I did was putting it up on my own webspace so I don't whore their's.

Behold, the kouki S14 front end on an 180SX.

Heheh, that link rubbersidedown posted seemed to have all things rice. I can't believe there's a business for counterfeit VTEC cylinder heads Just funny they mention the intimidation factor a body kit gives on what people ASSUME is under the hood. I s'pose that's why we dont' drive Hondas. That s13 does look pretty slick with the s14a front end. I for one though, will stay in the minority and enjoy my popups.

That looks pretty sweet, Takumi. I think that is the pic everyone wanted to see in the first place. Does anyone know how much this conversion is?

Agreed - it's too big for the s13 and the lines don't mate up (look at the A pillar).

The S14 Sil-Eighty I posted has a C-West front bumper. Someone on this board is selling the lights, bumper, fenders and stuff for a kouki (97-98) for $900 shipped I believe. You'll have to custom fit the entire thing and paint it. God knows how much that conversion will cost. Maybe almost $2,000?

I think if you want to be technical about it then a sil-80 is an all S13 car. Because it's the only combo that Nissan it's self ever sold, so it was an actual name of a car line.

The '97-'98 end does look sweet, but just as CA18Guy said it doesn't technically fit there. I like it, but I also think I'd go for an all S-13-setup if I were to change anything.
