Sr20det rattle, need help!

So i have a Red top sr20det swap and having a huge issue! So i recently replaced a blown turbo. I started getting a rattling noise, i thought it was an exhaust leak. Well anyways, i was driving home the other day and all of a sudden i noticed i'm loosing power and the rattling is getting louder and then the car shut off. I was able to turn it back on, but the same thing would happen. I'm not really sure were to start with all this or if the engine it's self it just gone. if any one has any ideas on what to check or do at this point that would be awesome!

Take the valve cover off and check the timing chain first or go buy a stethoscope and just start listening to different parts. I had a water pump fin break off and start to ratle which set my knock sensor off and made my car feel like i was towing a semi. Good luck

any visual leaks that you can tell? check your oil. could be your bearings inside gettin all thrashed.. no oil will do some damage. happened to me when my sr had no oil. stalled out and the noise kept getting progressively louder. rattle/knock noise?

I checked the oil. It's full.... I also didn't see any leaks or damage. It sounds more like a rattle than a knock.

Coming from where? Head or bottom end? Either way, start by lifting the valve cover and see if anythings fucked up. Check the chain for slop, checking the rocker arms and all the shims in place.
