The HCN (homeless communication network) is far more effective than any tv.

They only had scrambled eggs, karl was sad about that...But we got a baller table that seated 6 people for just 2 of us.
We waited 1 hour in line. Took us a total of 20 minutes to order and eat. By the time we were eating, the line was already around the restaurant.
I'd say we got out pretty quick.

I think we(for 2 people) paid a total of $7 including tip, coffee and sides. each side is $.99

Definitely worth going to if you have the time.

02-03-2009, 10:43 AM

Sonic Motor
02-03-2009, 10:47 AM

I passed by a few as I was doing errands before I headed to work.

All I have to say is people are fucking pathetic to be lined outside for HOURS just for a cheap five dollar fucking meal.

Not to mention there were people inline who are already a few pancakes short from imploding into their own fat.

Cops AND security?

For what, a fight over food?

Give me a break.

Doing this for advertising?

Everybody alive knows about DENNY'S. So that's a lie. This is just a sad cry for help which will just be them pouring money down the drain.

What a waste.

My quality of life is worth more than five dollars. I'd sooner pay fifty dollars for someone else's lunch than stand in a aids filled cesspool for a free handout of a meal.

Sonic Motor
02-03-2009, 03:18 PM
I think this was more for those who lost their jobs, and got nothing better to do.
This is like what the salvation army do for the homeless. Its only a waste of time if you dont have time to waste. I think its great that Big corporations like denny is giving to the people during these rough times.

no,

it sucks to be in socal on the free dennys day becuase retarded people waited hours for a cheap meal and i got in, got seated right away, got my food, ate, paid for my drink, and left. :mepoke: it must take a real genius to take what i said the wrong way.

Yea the way I see it is I make 12 an hour, so If I have to wait more than 30 minutes in line, I might as well work an extra 30 mins and just go by a 5 dollar meal.

Exactly.

Quality of life people!

Sonic Motor

you see? How denny has already helped our economy? By making these long queuing lines, the people strapped for time are forced to go to other restaurants for lunch today. Its like a Win win for everyone. Me and wasabi woke up early so the wait wasnt that long. We got to work on time. Lost a little sleep. Thats about it. Free breakfast. Most important meal of the day.
