Round 1 - balcony feb 28 - march 1

day1 saturday - all day practice for topdrift! And team topdrift
singles practice
tandem practice
team tandem practice
setup day!

Day 2 sunday
8am - 2pm warm up and qualifying rounds and finals
2pm - 5pm - warm up - team tandem eliminations and finals

if you want to run just practice $105 for saturday
if you want to run just comp on sunday $150 for sunday

$205 for 2 days includes- 1 full day of practice and round 1 of topdrift 2009!

Team tandem is $25 per driver for registered competitors of topdrift rd1
if you have a team and wants to run practice day and team tandem only $150 per driver

-tandem rules applies! Rollbar/roll cage with side bar
-and fire extinguisher secured inside the car!
-bolt ons are approved with mounting plates!
-safety rules strictly applies and enforced

hey jeremy, if you have a rollcage you need a 5pt harness. if you don't have a cage (no tandem) regular seat belt is ok.

yes sir! that's correct and for the seasoned topdrift drivers that went all of 2008 season gets free team tandem for round 1!

example: matty cakes, tommy roberts, mikki frial etc. they all get team tandem comp for free in round 1 since all of them went to all 4 rounds of topdrift.

we usually cap it at 30 for the comp. open class except pro. so if you're planning to come with a team, go reg before it reg closes. we'd like to see new drivers in the mix.

only one restriction: FD/D1 seeded drivers = anyone in top32 of FD/D1 can't join.

oh yeah, remember you're playing with none pro drivers in a none pro car, so rhys and sam, leave your works car at home. lol..

I'm cutting it close. I just pulled off the z32 bellhousing last night to add bolts to the bottom of it. Gotta seal it back up, throw it back on and finish a couple more things with the wiring. I'll have monday and next weekend to get it all done. Damn valentines/9 year anniversary weekend.

Cylinder 1 has 95psi on the compression tests. I could run it as that how I ran her @ Pro-am but fear I could cause more damage to the motor ie:window the block or something.

jeremy... go compete! you're pretty consistent and good. you should try.. if anyone wants to try out topdrift, this year balcony is by far the easiest track we'll use. after this we'll be jumping to other higher speed ones. especially streets.

Eehh... hello everyone. I heard this drifting thing is really cool, I saw it on TV once. Are there a lot of girls? I was thinking I could bring my Nissan 350Z, it is really cool, with the 18" Touring rims and I even have a car-bra so the paint is really nice and fresh on the bumper. I have read in all the magazines that it is a really cool car, even on a night out on town, not only for the winding roads.

Do I have to wear a helmet? I am afraid it would spoil the pictures. But the car is really safe, with a lot of airbags so it should be necessary right? And if I just want to look cool I don´t have to drive especially fast, right?

Btw I practiced a little bit already, and now I can´t even see the text on the side of the front tires (on one side only a little bit), I think that is way cool with this car, I really look forward to it. But there was no smoke like in Fast and the Furious, but maybe that is just special effects, my car is almost like those they said when I bought it, except the paint. I think this car should be pretty good in the competition even if I just take it easy. I just have to make sure that I have time to gas it up.

Round 1 was epic!!! The new balcony layout is boss, mini vegas for the win! So many people did well this weekend, gratz to all the qualifiers and winners! Miki's master cylinder decides to bitch out on him but that doesn't stop him, the man takes 3rd in a borrowed car!!

Yes I hit one of the black pearl. It was an elaborate plan by me and matt to brake our own cars in an effort to get Jack to run into us and brake his car further but he got scared and stayed away from us and had time to brake. :-p But it was all worth it, there was siiick tandem at the end of the day. Thanks Matt Fields and Matt Powers for the tandem practice! And Matt I have a rack for you, ill bring it friday!
