i liked it but my tires ran out faster it seemed like.

yeah I think if I dynoed my KA the dyno would read, Error: take the hampster off the wheel.

tire wears down faster cause you are spinning them faster, there is less friction cause less contact patch with the ground. but see I run 215...I know castro runs 195. probably same contact patch and the tire pressures we run.

My car would take you no problem up through half of third gear(when it runs right). but I fail on the top end.
I run 15 with 50 series so I can spin em fast and get excellent take off for autocross.
But at higher speeds I could really use a larger diameter.

Plus, I probably wont be able to get my engine running properly.
I did cap, rotor, plugs and timing, checked for vacumm leaks.
And its still stumbles and sputters if I floor it in first.

i dont know whats wrong and have no money to fix it.
so imma run the contest on a fucked up engine.

I was running 255/40-17 RE01s at 45 psi cold and they spun fine and gave enough grip. I was able to complete most of the JD course without spinning out with them on. Grip and tire pressure also depends on the tire being run. Because at 50 psi cold, the 245/40-17 595SS I was running would not grip enough until I dropped them to 40 psi cold.

Maybe it's your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

timing was perfect, TPS was perfect, new CTS, new o2... bunch of stuff... couldnt figure it out.

Maybe clean your MAF and then ground it to something. My friend did that and his car ran so much better. He said its because its static electricity build up on the MAF and it gives it a false reading. Don't know if its true but it helped him out. Bring your car down to torrance and we will fix it

Well, here's the thing. I don't compete in the RC thing. I run the show with two other guys. We set up the course, set up tents, partition pit area, set up run groups, judge the qualifying runs, judge the tandems, and then hand out the prizes. Fun stuff. Hard decision to make.
