Hey,

anyone knows the difference between a DiF Z32 Master Brake Cylinder and a Tokico? They are using the same Ratio(17/16) and DiF says that the
Cylinders are produced by Tokico, but the DiF is about 300$ and the Tokico +-130$?!?!

Which Master Brake Cylinder do you use in your car?

If Dif says their brake master cylinders are made by tokico it could mean that they have different specifications for materials and quality control. There isn't really going to be a difference that you can decern (sp?word?). In a case like this i would just buy the tokico because they make a good product. but as far as the answer for the $180 question... which one is better? i don't know.

Do you use ABS? What is that "special fitting"? The only thing that would
need a special fitting is the Front line, because the exit is not straight, so
there i would need a 45° Fitting, or?

Ali

see the thing is ALL z32 bmc should come with a third brake fitting. so if yours did not come with a third fitting then you got the wrong one or it was manufactured incorrectly.

I read that site a few times, if i've unterstood everything correctly, there are only a few things to look at, if you do not have ABS on your car, mine has ABS and it will stay in it.
So i'll buy a normal 17/16" Tokico MC, should work. thanks!

ohh well i completely miss understood you. by third fitting missing i thought you meant that the third port for a brake line was missing.

and besides, it's completely understood that when putting a z32 bmc you have to reuse your fitting so that is why i was confused when you brought it up. it was only until recently that some one had a bmc made just for s chassis owners that use z or bigger calipers.

Thats the Answer from FRSport.com

Hi Chris, the DiF BMC is made to fit to the 240sx. The regular Tokico is does not work.

So im confused...please excuse me. So installing the dif will give you a better pedal feel than the z32??

So another partstore told me that the Tokico fits with that adapter Fitting, so i will buy it. The ratio is the same, and for that "special pedal feeling", i won't pay more than twice the price of a Tokico Cylinder.
