just a question for those with quick release setups.. i just brought the nrg 2.0 quick release, would the short hub give me close to stock position or would the regular hub do the job? i want it as close to stock position as possible. any input will be greatly appreciated!

2.0 + short hub will still bring the wheel a bit forward.
was pretty noticeable for me.

i did search, i alway do that first. and not just on this site either, didn't really find anything definitive, so figure i'd just ask. but thanks for the input, so i guess the short hub is the answer.

Compare the stock wheel vs. hub+QR+aftermarket wheel
It really depends on the depth of the wheel. On some "deep dish" wheels, the QR+wheel depth is already > stock wheel depth.
If you want as close to stock as possible, I recommend shorty hub, QR, and the thinnest/shortest wheel you can find.

if you get a qr you might as well get a lock too.. if not, whats the point of it right?

from my experiences
short hub + standard quick release + standard corn steering wheel = about stock location
short hub + standard quick release + deep corn steering wheel = a little farther away than stock
standard works bell hub + nardi 350 deep corn = perfection.

thanks for all the input! I brought the nrg short hub yesterday. I have a momo millenium evo style wheel. and for the person that suggested an alarm in brooklyn it really makes no sense to have one cause no one cares when they go off anyway. so if you don't hear it its just a waste of money unless you get a real pager alarm and that's not even that great. i also brought a lock for the quick release too..
