"Why didn't your friend call the police?"

"He was trespassing and didn't want to get in trouble," the caller replied. As it happens, the caller's friend is an urban explorer who gets thrills rummaging through and photographing the ruins of Detroit.

I have to ask.

That was a rather well written new story. A bit moving.

Thats crazy how 1 in 50 people living in Detroit are homeless.

im sure he fell. and no, i wasnt the guy that found him. lol.

but thats pretty much how it is in detroit. if people see something shady gong on, they ignore it. unless ofcourse it effects them directly. kinda crazy.

seeing that it is an elevator shaft that would be a great possibility.

let me explain it like this. people like me, who go to these places and take pictures or whatever. they throw shit down the elevator shafts. bricks, wood, toilets, garbage, etc. im sure that whatever it is he landed on at the bottom, it wasnt soft.

the building is 3 levels above ground, and the basement. never been in the basement, cause its filled with water.

Agreed. Detroit is an old school type of town, most people there go by the mind your own fucking business mindset. I only lived there for a little while, but still have friends that live there and theyre different cats for sure.
Abandoned buildings everywhere. Even huge ass casino's surrounded by desolate and extreme poverty stricken areas.

I think the place would slide into hell if the auto companys went under.

probably. nothing else going on around here. lol. its odd though. as shitty as it is, everyone from here, or that used to live here. they all have a spot in their heart for detroit. as small as it may be, its always there. haha.
