Think I can figure the cap out..but the rotor...besides matching the new rotor with the olds position..what else is important. Any part of the old rotor you gotta transfer to the new? Also as far as getting the old off, does it just pop off? If so I guess the new one justs snaps in place by pushing it in? Thats what I read in one post, just wanna double check cause thinking of doing mine soon.
Thanks

Hey I gave it a whirl and tried taking off an reinstalling the current cap and rotor before i buy new ones. No problems..but I notice the conductors on the inside of the cap seem kinda worn. Kinda like certain bits crummbled off. What material should I look for the conductors on the new cap to be made of, to help prevent this. I looked at autozone and advance auto...and theres a some great sales pitch for all of em..but I dunno whats best. See one said something about the cap having Phosphor-bronze conductor strips???

They're all similar material, you're not going to find a 'better' one versus another one really, but I'd stick with OE it was me.

Stick with OEM. It helps when you've got a couple tech buddies. I can get a cap and rotor from Nissan for cheaper than Autozone.

See your point lol. Hey you guys put in dielectric grease inside the terminals the spark plug wires plug into on the top of the cap..to help with moisture? Or you just slap the cap on there and call it a day?
