Well as some of you know, or may not know, I sold the beast. I sold it to a guy in NC who loves it. The guy brought with him a member of this forum named Kyle who also owns a turbo KA. I told Kyle after the sale that I was going to look at an S13 to buy for the hell of it, he told me he was a member of a mailing list and that one of the members about 2 hours away from me was selling an S13 in my price range that was modified. Needless to say I got ahold of the owner and after he told me what it had done, and how much he wanted, I knew I had found my next project car.

I bought the 93 SE hatch with the following mods: Remote control CD player, Boston Acoustics speakers, Clifford Alarm, S14 Leather Seats, Short Shifter, CAI, HS Header, HKS exhaust, PDM racing Cat, Whiteline sway bars and bushings, Eibach Sportlines, Brand new Tociko Blues shocks, LSD, 300ZX TT brakes, 5 Lug conversion, and a Jim Wolf Clutch. The car ran like a champ and I only paid $2000 for it!!

I picked up and SR20DET from a friend and spent all this past weekend installing it with the help of a few close friends. It even monsooned saturday night while we were working on it which made it real fun in my driveway. We were able to get it running sunday by twisting the **** out of the crank angle sensor but it had some other minor problems and it was getting dark, and I was so sick of working on it I gave up. I took a day off yesterday and came hom today determined to get it running. I tightened up the PS line which was leaking all over the place, and pulled the valve cover to reset the CAS, the first time I got it wrong so it didnt run but then I reset it again and viola! It breathed life! Turned the boost up with my "Homie The Clown" boost controller from Home depot and off we went drifting into the night!!! Its nothing like the 400rwhp KA but it will do for now. I am buying a Silvia front end this week and then painting it. I kept my Volks off of my S14 so it should look pretty sick once it's complete. I think i already have a buyer for it though :( he made me an offer I cannot refuse but we'll see if he actually comes through or not. I will get pics up as soon as I can.

As much as I hate to see your S14 go bye-bye, I'm glad you've found a new project car! You got a great deal! How much did you end up getting for the KAT?

wow.... s13 bought built and sold in record time maybe?? congrats on the new car.... i actually hope you sell it cause I'm curious as what you'd do with a 3rd car since you've now done an s13, an s14, and an sr and kat respectively....

wow, how did you find that deal, congrats on the sale and the new purchase, you seem to be doing steps that people took years to do in weekends, I envy you.

If you don't sell the car what do you plan on, faster than the KA was and sell, or around the same thing and sell.

Get some pics of the car:D

96SEChick- I told the guy $14,000 firm but I told him it was gonna have 18" wheels with it and i couldnt locate a set fast enough so I had to put some 16's on it that I had my race tires on so he beat me up on the price $500.00 $13,500 was enough for me though, I actually got very close to what I had in it. The best part was that I didn't owe a dime on the car hehe :D

AceInHole- I am thinking of going RB26 in a 97-98 240 as my future car hehe, that one should be wild! Take those puny little turbo's off and replace wiht a T-78 or something rediculous, I want 700-800hp! I was going to get a supra but then thought about how much I really love Nissan's.

KidyNomiTe- The deal really was out of this world... the guy was prepping the car for the SR and then came accross a deal on one of his alltime favorite cars, a Porsche 944 Turbo. He bought the 944 and began working on it then stuff started breaking. He says the standard price for anything on that car that breaks is $700, needless to say, after you have to replace a few parts like that you tend to become a little thin in the wallet and he said his s13 just had to go. I guess I was in the right place at the right time. As for this car, if it doesnt sell I will more than likely rip the T-25 off and go with a big turbo to make atleast 400rwhp. Believe it or not, that power level can be achieved relatively cheaply, my friend Scott's car made 409rwhp at 21psi on pump gas with stock internals on an sr. So thats prolly what I would do. Since the car is lighter than the S14 I would imagine it would scoot very well. We'll just have to wait and see.
