Ok, Long story short.
I just lowered my car on some Tein Basics (I got 'em dirt cheap, why I got basics :P) and I already have adjustable RUCA's and Front Tension rods.
I took the car to Tires Plus to get aligned and they complained the car was too low to even get on their ramps and they refused to use wood boards. That didn't bother me any...but they did mention that they didn't know what to align the suspension to and asked if I had a manual that said what settings to run. I didn't have anything and had no clue what kind of alignment to set to.
So...in the end......What alignment specs do I run for my S14?
Tein Basics coilovers.
Adjustable RUCAs and Front Tension rod.
Stock base wheels.
and I know, I sound like a complete noob, flame on.
I'm just looking for help, thanks in advance to any advice!

If your car is a DD then use OEM specs. There is no point to deviate from them.
If they don't know the OEM specs then how are they staying open in the first place?
I suggest you take your car to another shop.

I don't know, some reason the guys were complaining of not being able to use oem specs. I suppose I should try another shop...atleast one that is able to use wood planks, lol, thank you!

i run - 1.5 all around on my s14. Works fine for me. I will be changing the front to -2 or -2.5 though. I just like the turning response better. -1.5 will be fine for you though.

if the car is lowered, they most likely cannot get the camber to oem specs, all depending on how low the car is that is and also if the tein basics have camber adjusters up top.
but in defense of the shop, it isn't so much that the car can't make it up the ramps but rather that the alignment machine (whatever they use) can't get readings from a lowered car accurately

I have adjustable arms though...still can't get it to oem specs?
The Basics do not have adjustments at the top, not even dampening knob.
I can only control the height.

I work at sears and we have a snapon visualiner alignment machine and we can do cars that are slammed to the ground. The scanners can be raised and lowered depending on a car. But even then, with a slammed car with 15" wheels, the wheels are gonna be around the same height as a normal car with 15" wheels...depending on the tire.

They still have camber adjustment.
I don't see why they can't set your car to oem.

My one friend recommended Sears and after you explained the type of machine they use, I'll consider it.
As for why they aren't able to do oem specs, I never asked.
I was just mad at them and wanted to get outta there.
I dropped my car off at 12pm and the I asked if my car would be done by the end of the day (They closed at 5 cuz it was sunday) and they said yes.
They call me at 5 to say my car is "ready' then proceed to tell me that they couldnt get my car on the ramps due to it being low. So they didn't do the job and I didn't have my car all day for nothing. The shop was a big joke....
But ya, I'll go to Sears or maybe even Firestone and see what I can get done.

I find it ironic that Sears would use snap on equipment, do they use craftsman tools at all? haha

How is camber adjusted on stock cars?
Through eccentric bolts.
The front isn't really adjustable.
Only through the little play between the shock and spindle.

If craftsman made an aligner, we probably use it, break it and warranty out new one.
