what should I do first? ( car is stock)
1990 240 fastback
-sr20
-suspension (ruled out coilovers since I will only drift once a month if im lucky)
- what spring and shock combo that will lower about 2" or is 2" to low?
-rims
-stereo
its a daily driver that I need to commute 150miles a day with!!!
just wondering what everyones opinion is.....

LSD!!
the best upgrade you can do on ANY car.

VLSD if you are on a budget
true LSD (mechanical or clutch 1, 1.5 or 2 way)

everything else is meaningless

oh yeah forgot about the lsd!!! I think thats one of the first things I will do

well yeah, if its a commute car, that you are not trying to mod out, I would go with LSD VSLD, just for those turns at the stoplight ;), but if i had to wait in traffic every day, I would probably get a system to keep me awake.

vlsds on AVERAGE run $250+

Not to mention another $100 or so in shipping fees.

ah yes forgot about that
us so cali are spoiled!

LSDs (such as nismo/kaaz, etc) will run on average $1000+ and then include shipping and install as well. near $1500

the vlsds come off of silvia and 180s? .... how bout the j30 lsd should they be cheaper ?... bc they are in the US ....

i found a junkyard that was going to sell me a VLSD shipped for around $200 :D and no i'm not going to tell u which one :p (meaning i haven't bought it yet)

i HIGHLY suggest reading the FAQ forum and Drift Freaq's post on LSD/VLSD

you'll learn everything there and then be somewhat of a guru
