I'm looking to sell my s14. I don't want to, but it's time to move on to something else, and I'm going to need money. It's a great car that runs reliably and has enough power for most people. Looking to get around 18,000. I'm not in any rush to sell, I'd just like to have it gone by next summer. Here's a mod list (I'm sure I've forgotten a few things, so I'll update as i remember them):

30/70 coolant to water ratio w/ redline water wetter

Things to note:

You can't really see them in any of the pictures, but the car was keyed all the way around last winter. In addition, the e-brake isn't currently hooked up(since the rear z32 conversion), but i have the R33 e-brake cables for the swap. Furthermore, the headlight circuit wasn’t working (I haven’t been able to troubleshoot since I’m at school so they are currently wired to a three way switch in the glovebox. Also the wheels have some curb rash. It's not terrible, but noticeable under close scrutiny. There is a local shop that will refinish all four wheels for less than $300, but i just don't want to throw any more money into this car (it's already got about $34,000 as of now). Other than that, the car runs and drive great. It's a real thrill to hit the gas at 60 mph on a dry day and find yourself sliding sideways across the road!

Please feel free to contact me anytime regarding the car at 314-808-3484.

the spacers are not there for 'looks'. they happen to keep the bay 5-10 degrees cooler and help prevent coilpack failure. i think it looks better without the spacers, but i'll sacrifice small 'looks' for additional reliability any day. they take about 5 minutes to remove, so if the new owner would like them out it's not a big deal.

you're trying to argue that the car is worth $9000? at the risk of sounding like a pompous asshole, this car's had over $34,000 put into it in parts ALONE (not including labor). the estimated value given by modified car trader is $25,000 (again not including labor). it might not have a cage or a steering wheel but if you look at all of the small stuff, it starts to add up VERY quickly.

edit: just an example: according to you all of the mods on this car are worth $2000 (see http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/234533-1997-240sx-se-7-000-obo.html)

as i mentioned before, this sale is OBO. if you are interested in the car, you can call me anytime at 314-808-3484. i don't mind talking about the car. i know it inside and out and will be happy to discuss anything about it with you (including price).

Yes while the parts are worth that much, its just REALLY hard to get your moneys worth unless you sell this car somewhere in the middle east. 18k is steep for this car, yes its super clean and all, but you will get around 14k at best.

I'm just saying, at 18,000, I'm still not getting anywhere close to my money's worth, and that's just the starting price. Like I said, when somebody comes to me with a serious offer, we'll talk.

Haha, god you fail. 9k lets be realistic yeah I'm sure he know's he won't get 18k out of the car but 9k that's what clean ass ka24de koukis go for with half the suspension mods

the reason he can justify a starting price that high is because you could not rebuild that car the way it sits for less than that(it'd probably be closer to 25k to do it)

I'm just saying, at 18,000, I'm still not getting anywhere close to my money's worth, and that's just the starting price. Like I said, when somebody comes to me with a serious offer, we'll talk. I'll give you $100, a coupon to st. louis bread company, and a 10min BJ from a fat chick LOL

Bump, superclean car!

Take the hood risers off!!! They dont do anything at speeds over 5 mph.

They make your car look like its been in an accident.

Not my opinion its fact that hood risers are worthless.

I can't just pull them off because I'm in SoCal for school and the car's in St. Louis. I think by now everyone who reads this thread will know from the numerous posts that the spacers are easily removable and that the car wasn't in an accident.

dont listen to half these pointless responds man, your car is very clean and you built it with quality parts and a good setup, hood spacers? who cares, i didnt even notice it, and they come off in 5 min like you said...its almost like not buying a car because of a shift noob you dont like...wtf is with these people...and your price aint bad, its steep, but obviously with the intention not to get burnt from how much you put into it...imo definetly worth easy 16,000...and probably moro...there are s13's for sale with a stock sr and coils going every day for 6K-7K...and not to mention not nearly as clean...gl with the sale man...hope it finds a good home
