The fuel pump located at the rear hatch area. take out your rear trunk carpet wooden panel and you will see a panel that can be taken out by 2 screws (I think), disconnect the harness, release the screws, pop open the panel and there's your fuel pump!

300ZX fuel pump is direct swap, just need to do minor trimming, exchange the fuel pump sock, and tie the pump with clamps and bolt everything back in.

I think if you get a 300ZX pump you'll need a fuel pressure regulator. Also it's pointless unless you have a turbo or alot of NOS.

I second that opinion. It really doesn't make much sense to have a huge fuel pump, and still have a n/a 140hp car. But, if you're planning to get a turbo VERY soon, then yeah do it. Don't forget to upgrade your fuel lines and injectors.
Think about doing the O2 sensor too, not sure if it's upgradable (just talking out of my ass.)

If you call autozone, ask them for a component location for your fuel pump, and they'll tell you right where it is.  I kinda think it's in the tank, but I could be wrong.

definitly access it in the trunk but dont forget to depressurise the lines or youll end up with a carpet full of gas. you have to pull the fuse for the pump and start the car to depressurise it - i pretty sure but hey theres always a dumb ass margin

Also, if you disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, it'll depressurize the lines.
