Ok! So I'll try to explain this as best as I possibly can. Im putting a 1996 KA24DE with a 96 Lower Manual Harness and 1996 Engine Harness into a obdI Chassis not to mention since its obdI of course its a 95 the fuse box wiring and chassis harness is still the 1995. Im noticing that alot of the plugs that are branched off the fuse box do not fit? I was wondering if anyone has done this swap before? I've figured out most the vaccum lines etc. The wiring is whats got me lost cause that is my weakest... Subject I should say. Do I possibly need to swap the lower harness. Id really like to avoid cutting and soldering stuff but if I need to I could do that I've been looking on the fsm's but its just giving me a headache and was wondering if you guys had any input. At 17 Im still learning all this:duh: Thanks In Advance!

If the car has an OBD1 harness you can use that with an OBD1 distributor and i think TPS. When i put a 96 KA into my old s13 i used OBD1 Harness and ECU. Just kept those two things.

There is nothing in the fusebox that is touched. Nothing. The chassis harness is the exact same. The only difference between engines that matters is the CTS, TPS, and O2, you have the harness too so just plug it all in. Anything not plugged in or not found to plug in, leave loose. The car doesn't have to meet the 1996 mandate anyway.

This is a simple as hell install.
