I'm sure this has been covered many of times, but I have like 10 minutes to get ready for work and i'm sure someone will help before then. I've found a "few" sites, but they just seem sketch...so if you can help, thanks.

Oh yea... looking for:

ka24de :

Crankshaft
Headgasket
Front/Rear Crank seals

What kind of "genuine" parts are you looking for? Genuine Nissan parts? Genuine aftermarket parts? Or just parts that aren't imaginary?

its pretty hard to find a part that is not genuine. maybe on ebay. if you want to pay more try napa or courtesy parts. what is the rear crank seal? is that part of the oil pump?

when getting the rear main seal its a good idea to buy a main cap also (that the seal sits in) and make sure to apply a good amount of gasket sealer..every one i've done has leaked if not used.

You're an idiot. Both are Nissan dealers, offering parts, service, and new car sales. Just like the dealer in your area. Any dealer can get you anything you want, these dealers just cater to more online business and therefore have store fronts. They can order and ship you any Nissan OE part ever made, as long as it's still in production. Just like the dealer in your area. Your local dealer might even deliver too, since all parts departments deliver to local businesses and shops daily.

But that would of course be too hard for you to figure out.

Courtesy Parts not legitimate? What crack are you smoking...... not only is it one of the oldest Nissan dealers in the country, ive ordered plenty of items from them and aside from West Covina its probably the best place to get OEM Nissan parts for the right price.

Even my local dealer would have taken almost as much time to get the parts as getting them shipped via either one of the above, yet my local dealer wanted more money for those parts! Even with shipping factored in!!!

you need to stop working on cars if you can't replace a rear main without it leaking. where the hell are you putting the gasket sealer? i've done many rear mains on s chassis (both ka and sr), z32, maxima, frontier and xterra without any of them leaking afterwards and without replacing the main cap either.

op- how does a genuine nissan dealer not seem legit? what the heck did you do to your old crank that requires a new one?

Oil Pan Gasket.

Does Nissan make an oil pan gasket, or is it just liquid gasket?

What u mean "every one I've done has leaked if not used". I ask because Im abt to get my rear main seal done with a new clutch and flywheel. By the way are aluminum flywheels any good. I was thinking abt something that was more performance oriented. Also how are nismo clutches?

not original but hes a great guy, great prices. They are made by the original manufactures, they just aren't in Nissan bags, boxes. I bought a timing chain cover, oil pump what ever its called. My friend bought the one from Nissan, mine and his were exactly the same except I saved 300.

Courtesy/Westco Nissan 100% legit, plus courtesy has those (IPB) illustrated parts breakdowns of everything. Nuts, bolts, anything you could ever need.

LOL, this shit is funny!

Beware of courtesy nissan man, they'll rip you off for sure!

LOL!

Get a used KA crank from someone here, why buy a new one?

Nissan does NOT sell an oil pan gasket, it's silicone.

DUH!
