Its steam looking with a very slight shade of white....has a weird smell. My xhaust is in terrible condition with multiple leaks and massive rust(i can the smoke going outside both side of the muffler! Could the exhaust be the culprit?? i hope so...

You should probably get a new exhaust, but it also may be your oil. Are you checking your oil levels on regular basis?

Do you check it on a regular basis? Check it every other day or so, if you notice it go down even slightly, then you're burning oil and that's why there's smelly white smoke coming out of your exhaust. Also, how many miles per gallon do you get out of your car?

'll post too because I have the same problem. My exhaust rattle like there's no tomorrow. I get the some Rice
Burning smell. I get disgusting mileage. I spent $10.00 on gas 2 days ago and I need gas in one more day. I only
when around the city. How do I exactly know how many miles to the gallon?

u could fill up all the way, n take note of how many gallons it says u put in. then reset the trip odometer (or whatever its called). then when ur almost on E, just take ur total miles ur car has gone n divide it by the total # of gallons u put into ur car when u filled up. i know it's not exactly accurate, but it's what i do when i go on a long trip or if i'm doing a lot of driving.

That's exactly the way to do it. Also, when you dont' fill up all the way, your gas mileage gets distorted. Or so it is for me.

You said it's steamy. Have you checked your radiator fluid lately? = blown head gasket
