Hey whats up guys and gals

I guess ill post this here since its not really a tech thing, and i was just trying to get some info about this stupid horn fix it ticket.

I got a ticket few months back, and it was for making a right on "No right when red light." But the rookie officer on the bike also added in a fix it ticket for not having a horn, just because my horn button is missing. So I just simply put my horn button back on and go to court and tell them I have a horn button now. But what if the people at the court or w/e tells me to push on the horn button and nothing comes out? sorry this is my first fix it. Any suggestion? by the way my friend is trying to get his uncle to sign that bull shit horn fix it ticket off.

Well, if they told you to fix the horn and you LIE to them and then get busted, what are we supposed to do?

Fix the horn. If they ask, you can show them it works. If not, you'll have a horn again.

just wire up a button to your horn. Pretty simple really. If im not mistaken, and Im assuming you have an s chasis, just run a power to a button, then there is that black wire with the female connector coming out of your hub, wire that in so that when you push the button, you have power, wala, you have a horn. Never done it, so if someone wants to correct me feel free, but thats how I would assume it works.

O I had assumed aftermarket wheel, but doesnt seem he has aftermarket.... if its stock, just do that ^^^^^^^

its an aftermarket wheel, and i dont' believe the horn it self is there, the cop came up and saw my momo wheel with no horn button.

Well, it's illegal to not have a horn on your car, hence the fix it ticket. If you can't make it work with your momo wheel, put your stock one back on for the test. Once you pass, put your Momo wheel back on.

Well, when i purchase the car, it never had the horn, the previous owner threw it out. And i never put one back on, cause i never cared about it, until that one day. And like i said the cop wrote me down for not having a horn, but he doesn't know my horn is there or not, he just knows im missing the button. I was just wondering maybe i can just put the horn button back on and call it a day. But i guess ill have to go to a junk yard now and purchase a horn, unless someone has one for sale for me.

When you go for the fix it ticket check, then will make you honk your horn. They won't just look at it and say, "Pass".
