my s14 did alot when i drove in the mountains, must have been the short full throttle bursts loading up with fuel. i had a test pipe, 3 inch catback,cams,header,intake, and no tuning whatsoever. it just did it . why are u wanting soo bad for your car to backfire, do u think its cool or something?

well yeah the back fire would sound so sick
i had my exhaust unbolted after the cat. and it backfired a couple of times not that loud though. but the exhaust was to loud and raspy sounded like a honda. now i am trying to figure out another way.

Remove the smaller one and leave the holes unplugged. Also, either hollow out your catalytic converter, or get a test pipe.

I got a test pipe and it backfires like crazy.

No flames, but I can hear the pop.
