Hola
Sellin' mah baby! Blew a hole in my right arm courtesy of some rockfall during a climbing/guiding thing in the San Gabriel Mountains, so I hafta pay some med bills as well as a speeding ticket and 18,500 other things. Selling a buncha stuff at the moment (any climbers/mountaineers take note...).
Ideally, I'd like to trade for a good condition AE86 GT-S Hatchback (4A-GE series 16 or 20v), non-SR5, don't care about most of the interior so long as the seats are OK, as well as dashboard and gauges. Trueno front flip up lamps, hatchback, not a coupe, not SR5 in any way, and engine must be strong. A/C will be removed so no biggy. Exterior should be 20ft perfect. ;-) Will be a daily driver plus fun car.

Basics: 1990 240SX KA24E, stock motor, advanced timing (running 91 octane), Tein Lowering Springs, not a heck of a lot else. Power steering works. Car runs fantastic but there's a problem with the cat, which should be fixed this week (sounds, smells, runs like a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower). Modified exhaust (still haven't put it on a lift so I haven't looked at it real good), basically a fart can (Tsudo), cat-back. Stock headers.
-Interior has been removed, so the sound deadening is still in there, as well as both front seats, door panels, center console, and dashboard.
-Interior components are in very good condition, which surprised me when I purchased the car. Cracked thingy around the shifter, which was replaced. Needs a new shift boot. The left rear seatbelt (shoulder/top par) is the only bit that needs to be sourced.
-Right/passenger seat frame needs to be rewelded as it moves around. Welds are busted.
-Have full interior, save for the left rear upper/shoulder seatbelt and a bunch of the damn plastic snaps that blew out.
-New-ish rotors and pads (replaced all four since May), all OEM-spec so they kinda suck.
-New-ish tires, replaced last week at Used Tire King (all are about 60% street tires, 15/205's on steelies)
-Front left caliper needs a rebuild kit, as a bushing or other rubber part is dead, so it leaks slowly.
-Removed the AC and all AC components, 57lbs gone (helped out a bit!). All components are on hand. AC didn't make cold happenings prior to removal.
-Rear tint removed as well as defroster lines
-Replaced tail light sockets, as old ones had corroded to hell. Brake lights work, reverse light does not (probably a switch in the tranny or whatever)
-Speedo goes on vacation sometimes, where it won't work. Then, works just fine for weeks. Then, hey! Guess your speed! TSS I guess.
-Engine would benefit from a new wiring harness. Runs fine.
-Trunk doesn't like to open all the time. I think it has something to do with no back seat keeping tension on the cable which ordinarily runs underneath it. All trunk parts look fine.
-Only one point of rust found, easily welded (rust then crack in floorboard, crack maybe 2 inches long)
Overall, very clean. Really good candidate for a swap (thought the KA runs just dandy). Can't think of any glaring problems.
I'm sure I missed something. I have bad memory so I'll add more as anyone points out, "Hey, you forgot _____". Having a cruddy few weeks so far so I apologize.
Asking $3,000 cash, pickup, no deliveries etc. Mega tight on cash right now.
