Adding To My Stable

My parents decided I needed I reliable car, since my two cars right now are an S13 and an 86. So since I start college tomorrow, they figured I'd actually need to be there. So they gave me the stipulation that it had to be a brand new car ('09) and less than 18k. After test driving every single car that fits into that category I settled on this. For it's practicality of being able to haul my drums and other band equipment. Lots of room inside, AWD obviously, and in stock form more fun to drive than my 240.

So yeah, it is a base model but I don't care. There is nothing like the piece of mind that a new car gives you. So far it is quite pleasing. Drove it to Anaheim last night just kicked back and drove WITH A STEREO it was great lol.

I suck at taking pictures. Luckily my locale is pretty good haha.

Was this a purchase or lease? Some of the Subaru lease specials I looked at last year were pretty attractive. $130ish/month for a base impreza. $240-ish for a 5-door wrx from the subaru website.

It's a 5spd. Forgot to mention that. As for the guy who said silver looks weird, it wasn't my first color choice but it was the best of two colors that has black interior. I didn't want the tan interior because it is virtually the same crap that is in our Civic Hybrid and that shit gets dirty quick.

Mmm I highly doubt it, maybe for sedan '08s. I just spent like the last 2 weeks at Subaru dealerships and the WRX is quite a bit more. In the 23k region.

took the plunge myself about a year and a half ago

picked up the special edition 2.5i with sunroof upgraded stereo w ipod connection for 18k with payments of 241 a month

tons of fun to drive but i miss my 240 a bunch you're lucky you got to keep yours :/

its like zilvia but there is wayyyyyyy to many people on their to be friends with mods and the members are very douche like

I don't know if I plan on getting involved witht he Subie community at all. It's just my daily. A reliable and somewhat fun car to get me to and from school. I doubt I will even mod it. The less attention I receive the better.
