I just pulled the codes from my SOHC 89' 240sx.
I got code 13 which is (Engine temperature sensor circuit)
and 41.
But from the list im reading, 41 doesn't exsist.

You sure you got 41? Maybe double check? I think all should be listed.
Sorry 13 means too cold to start the motor! Hahahah just kidding GL

Engine coolant temperature sensor circuit
- An excessively high or low voltage from the sensor is detected by the ECM
- Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is opened or shorted.)
- Engine coolant temperature sensor
41
Intake air temperature sensor circuit
- An excessively low or high voltage from the sensor is detected by the ECM.
- Voltage sent to ECM is not practical when compared with the engine coolant temerature sensor signal.
- Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted)
- Intake air temperature sensor

Easy fixes, at least. That Intake Air Temp Sensor can be pulled from virtually any Nissan from 89-98, maybe more than that. Its located in the bottom half of the factory air box. Two screws, two wire.
Get a new CTS though. No need to cheap out on that.

dude, my ecu is throwing a long code; 12345, ive looked it up and have had no luck.
maybe one of you guys can give me a clue on WTF is going on.

that joke would of been much funnier if my ecu was throwing 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, !!
but seriously, i just came back from my car and i put it on ignition,
then the check engine and ecu flashes in this order;
2,3,4,5, 1,2,3,4,5, 1,2,3,4,5, 1,2.........:werd::werd:
im i reading these codes correctly?
how im i suppose to read it??!!!?
the # of flashes corrisponds to one number?
the pause indicates the next number? right?

lol search how to read your ecu codes for a 240sx. you're doing it wrong.
long flash equals first number and short flashes = second number. each ecu code is a 2 digit number for ob1 cars. example, one long flash and one short flash = 11.

i just found out whats happening:
<The inspection lamps will flash onces, the unit will be in mode I. The inspection lamps will flash twice, the unit will be in mode II. The inspection lamps will flash 3 times, the unit will be in mode III. The unit will continually cycle through the five modes until the screw is turn back.>
my shit was on mode select this whole time!!!!
now lets find out what really wrong with my car!

ive been to that meet once a while back, i went with jeff jones and his 1jz s13.
ive always been passenger or spectating, time to hop into the mix.
