What are the fastest stock 4 cyl? Lancer? Eclipse? Integra GSR? 240sx? Etc.

In your opinion that is.... :D

Lancer Evo, or the WRX STi (assuming the STi package is a stock setup)

What about the Elise? It's an I-4 I believe, 180 HP 4.2 or 4.3 0-60, not sure about all the other specs, but it's a very light car.

Imagine sticking a JSpec 3S-GTE in there :eek:

Depends on what you consider "fastest".

If it's top speed, that'd probably be the Lotus Esprit turbo or the Porsche 968 Turbo S.

For acceleration it's probably the Caterham Superlight R500... a car with only 230hp. But that 230hp only has to tow 1080 pounds. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. The top speed, even with rather awful aerodynamics, is 146mph.

Caterhams are only available as kit cars in the US, but they're considered production models in the UK, so it counts.
