Ok a few days ago I woke myself up laughing, but it was such a good laugh, the kinda laugh you see potheads do for no reason after they light up. My gf could not stop laughing at me cause she said I was smiling like a retard and then I started laughing. So I thought damn, that's a first, or is it? I bet someone on zilvia cooks in their sleep, drives in their sleep and crashes into cars, talks, walks or laughs in their sleep.
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else.
Upon recalling my dream all I could remember is that I was on a boat with a bunch of girls and Will Farrell and Seth Rogan were wearing weird swimsuits and have an argument/fight involving food like bananas. Sounds retarded but that's all I remember.
I used to walk and sometimes talk in my sleep, so this is not too surprising, just never thought it was possible.

In 1992, the Supreme Court of Canada upheld the acquittal of Kenneth Parks, who said he was sleepwalking when he drove 23 kilometres, stabbed his mother-in-law to death and seriously injured his father-in-law.
Parks was a 23-year-old Toronto man with a wife and infant daughter. He suffered from severe insomnia, the result of joblessness and gambling debts. He turned himself in to police after the deed, saying "I think I have killed some people.…"
At his trial, Parks said he could not remember anything about the murder and assault. A team of defence experts — psychiatrists, a psychologist, a neurologist and a sleep specialist — testified that Parks was "asleep" during the attack and therefore unaware of his actions.
On May 25, 1988, the jury rendered a verdict of not guilty on both the first-degree murder and attempted murder charges. The government appealed the decision and the top court upheld the acquittals.

One of my friends is known to sleep walk and talk, and once he got up suddenly and looked me straight in the eye and asked "fall back?" I said yes and he went back to bed. I guess he thought he was in a warzone or something, and no its not PTSD he was never in a war nor was he old enough at the time.

i've woken up smiling, but never laughing. that would interesting. but i was told by the girl that was in bed with, that i moan when i'm sleeping...i woke up one time moaning. it was weird. apparently is was the kind of moan you do when you like the way something feels...lol. but yeah. it was funny though. and with that same girl, we were facing each other and somehow woke up at the same time...except i almost got punched in the face. she doesnt remember doing that though...it was that state where you wake up and you're groggy and then just fall back asleep. fuckin sleep, its weird.

its actually pretty common, your brain paralyzes your muscles while you sleep so you dont hurt your self while dreaming . So pretty much if you wake up suddenly, your brain might thinks you're still dreaming and keeps your muscles asleep.
its happened to me twice, scary shit.
its caused by stress and a few other things

I remember one time a long time ago I was sleeping and I "woke up", I could hear my TV perfectly fine, but I couldn't move at all, I called for help but no one came so I went back to sleep. It was really weird experience. I thought it was a dream until a few months later I saw on the Discovery channel that it does happen to some people.

I've done that too. It happened when I was in middle school while everyone was watching a movie. I passed out, had a falling dream, and woke up going holy shit wtf... kinda funny. My girl twitches when she sleeps, but stays still. She says I kick the shit outta her and talk at times. I've actually woken up standing in front of my pantry before and down stairs just sitting on the couch.
If I stay at my great grandma's house, I always sleep in the same room. Me and my cousins call it the "doll room." Cause she used to collect dolls. There's at least 40 of them on the wall, right next to the bed. And every time I sleep in there I scream in my sleep, some times curse words (and my family is super Christian) like fuck, shit, god damn, ass, dick, etc and any sort of combination. I dont remember any of it, so when I come to breakfast everyone is starring at me.

So I am glad I am not the only one who seems to have adventures while sleeping.
Here is another one...
When I was 12 or so I choked my mom like I was trying to kill her in my sleep.
I was sleeping on the floor , and I was talking in my sleeping, than I started to sound angry, and started moving and fidgiting, and my mom tried waking me up, and when she kneeled down to wake me up and tapped me I lunged up and started choking her with both my hands. I think she slapped me to wake me up. But it scarred me, I woke up to see my mom almost crying.
Not so funny, but on a better note, once my brother tried to fuck with me in my sleep( he knew I would sleep walk sometimes, and wanted to influence it).
So I went to bed after eating dinner, and my brother waited till I was asleep and that sat next to me for about half an hour and kept repeating the same thing
"take Jessica(my sister) to the library"
So after half an hour he goes to the living room where my family is and I think they even had a guest over. Five minutes later I walk out, eyes open, walking slow, and in the middle of some one talking I whisper very loud "SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no talking in the library!!!!!!!!!"
than my stepdad says, your asleep go back to bed. I did, and woke up the next morning and they were all laughing at me.
he did this to me a second time but said, "mom said put the napkins away"
shortly after I stumble into the kitchen and start fumbling around with the table looking for the napkins.

The twitching right before going to sleep is involuntary muscle spasms. Its not a good thing. It basically means your muscles need more exercise. Work out more and it will go away.
I have said things while I am sleeping. I have also fallen asleep watching stuff on TV and still hearing it while I am sleeping. I would say that's a certain stage of sleep you go through.

yeah, i usually sleep in biology (but i maintain a B+ :boink:)
and if we're watching a video, or if my teacher is talking, i can hear him/the video in my sleep.
then sometimes i'll just snap out of my sleep thinking class is over and everyone is gone. and i realize only 10 minutes has passed when it feels like i've been sleeping for an hour.
back in freshman year when i was sleeping in physics (getting C+ :goyou:)
this cute blonde girl woke me up, and i thought it was the teacher.

when i was in elementary school i would go to sleep like normal and wake up completely fliped in my bed.. my head at the end of the bed and my feet chillin on my pillows.. also apparntly sleeped walked once or twice..
My older bro was worse when it came to sleep walking lol he would walk right in to the side of the door way when walking from room to room, growl at it and some times cus (kinda quite not laud at all) then keep walking into that room with out walking up lol

I was pretty confused and freaked out because it has been a while since i've slept on my bed at that time. Someone told me that it could be a ghost or something sitting on my legs or something.

WTF. That shit is too funny
I've sleep walked a couple of times, nothing major happened. I woke up one time in my drivers seat, fully buckled in, completely naked. I go back inside and find my clothes on the floor. I used to have full on conversations with my ex while I was sleeping. I'd be on the phone, passed out, and still talking to her like I'm completely awake. You make some stupid promises when your asleep.
One time my buddy called my cell at like 8am to go do something, dont recall. I guess I talked to him for like half an hour, then told him to come by my apt and we'd head out. He came by like 20 mins later, and bangs on my door. I wake up completely nude and yelling WTF MAN! He told me the story after, I felt like an ass.
I also do the sleep undressing sometimes. I'll have a dream that its sexy time and get naked. I dont recall it but I had a girl tell me that I yelled "ITS SEXY TIME" in my sleep and then got naked...

i wake myself up with my own farts.
when the alarm goes off sometimes a limb on my body is completely numb. and if its my legs i will fall over trying to turn off my alarm. one time i was crawling on the flooring like a crazy person from a horror movie trying to turn off my alarm. since my clock is on the other side of my room.

i had a dream last night i was doing something... but it caused my nose to bleed. I wake up and my face and pillow are covered in blood.
fucking aliens...
i also get sleep paralysis every now and again. first time scared the shit out of me, the second time it was amazing i was dreaming with my eyes open and awake, i know i was awake because at first it was dark and i could see my tv and windows, and gradually everything changed and i was in some surreal wooded area and there were stars everywhere and i could see all of the planets super up close lile.... i would compare it to acid.
also, every now and again i'll feel like someone is in the bedroom with me, trying to fuck with me. I would swear to god there were hands trying to pull me off the bed, so i jump the fuck up and grab whats ever close. i think my house is haunted. I've also fallen asleep on the couch, to wake up on my toilet or something fully dressed like i'm getting ready to start my day. Its convenient, but weird.

My GF talks, sings, laughs and cries in her sleep. Its pretty annoying.
When my GF was younger she was sleeping on the roof terrace with her cousins (at a villa in Spain). Her cousin got up and started sleepwalking and mumbling. She woke up to him climbing over the edge of the roof. She pulled him off (and probably saved his life!)
